Music and Lyrics - Part I

Alex: They are just lyrics.

Sophie: "Just Lyrics"?

Alex: Lyrics are important. But they're just not as important as the melody.

Sophie: I don't think you get it. A melody is like seeing someone for the first time. The physical attraction. But then, as you get to know the person, that's the lyrics. Their story. Who they are underneath. It is the combination of two that makes it magic.

It was the late autumn of 2002 during one cold day in May I discovered I loved writing lyrics to Medwyn Goodall's music, a person whom I had never heard of before in my life.

My life changed forever that day, and, it will never be the same again.

Heaven forbid, and God only know's I'm bound to cop a lot of flack from Medwyn's loyal fans out there based around the world for creating such a blog, BUT, I'm absolutely, ok with it, will live with it, and, will handle whatever come's my way, honestly.

However, before Medwyn fans start giving me a hard time about this blog, please, bare with me... and... STILL... LISTEN?

I have a funny feeling that you just may discover that the words of my lyrics and Medwyn's music work wonderfully together (?) (smiles).

You will need to have or get the CD's to the tracks I post lyrics on the two blogs I write lyrics to from listening to Medwyn's otherwise (hear me) it will be utterly pointless, continuing on any furthur, period (honestly it will)

For those Medwyn Goodall fans who out there who love his music, what can I say (?) you decide.
